We are very happy to announce a new series of posts we will be doing over the next few months designed to provide you with little sneak peeks into the creation of our new letterpress wedding album, the Dauphine Press Custom Wedding Portfolio II! We’ve had quite a lot of fun pulling inspiration for these wedding designs and we are incredibly excited to see the finished suites rolling off the presses.
Today we present you with the first installment, our Marinwood tri-fold save the date. Below you will see a few snapshots of the final product!

We were thrilled to see that our work was included in the autumn issue of the Austrailian magazine, The Wedding Style Guide. Ordered through through our retailer, Brenda Himmel Stationery in Santa Monica, the couple based their save the date, invitation and day of pieces on our Hayes design. We LOVE how they displayed their letterpress escort cards on the rows of pears below and feel so honored to have played a part in such a beautiful wedding.

If you haven’t already seen this darling magazine, you really must take a peek at their website & blog. We got lost in the free Look Book that is available for viewing fullscreen on their homepage. Below are a few screenshots of our favorite spreads (including one with the lovely pears!).
We are happy to report a break in the rain today here in Petaluma, California. This afternoon of sunshine has us thinking about the the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
We love the bright and cheerful cake designs on the cover and can’t help but think that the custom save the date we designed below would make a perfect compliment!

We have been watching the events unfold in Japan with horror and heavy hearts but are inspired to see our peers taking action. Lydia at Ever Ours & Lucy at Utterly Engaged have teamed up to organize a bloggers’ day of silence tomorrow, March 18th. Visit For Japan, With Love for more information and to donate what you can. Donations will help provide ShelterBoxes for those who have lost everything. Every little bit helps.
Candace Taylor from Remember This Always worked with Dauphine Press designer Heather Landry to create the letterpress pieces featured on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress season debut for the wedding of Donna & David Calloway. We love seeing the elements of our Hayes Design take on a classic look in blind hit and black. Remember This Always took this beautiful invitation to the next level with Swarovski crystals and a custom silk box. Take a look!
