Get the Look – Spring Floral

Just in time for spring, our design team was inspired by the rich, vibrant colors and spring florals worn by Golden Globe and Oscar nominated actress Jessica Chastain from the cover of the February, 2013 InStyle UK Magazine.

Translating gorgeous visuals like this one into the perfect stationery wardrobe is what our team does best. Pulling from our Custom Wedding Portfolio II and Design Library, we have selected bold coral letterpress ink {imagine your favorite decorative typeface pressed deeply into a thick cotton paper}, bright fuchsia edge painting {for the perfect eye-catching punch}, hummingbird blue double-faced satin ribbon {wrapped around your beloved cards securing them all together} and {always sparkling} champagne envelope liner for this fashion-inspired ensemble.

Get the Look – Grecian Goddess

At Dauphine Press we are huge fans of Santa Barbara Chic and Jose Villa — when the two came together at the beginning of August for this exquisitely graceful and ethereal style shoot, we couldn’t have been more inspired! The effortless color palette is perfect for a late summer wedding or a fresh alternative to a traditional fall color palette.

Our design team paired some of our custom design elements to create the perfect letterpress invitation suite to complement this color palette. Enjoy!

Get the Look – Natural Beauties

Every year The Hollywood Reporter gathers some of television’s best actresses for a round-table discussion about their characters and shows. This year they did a glamorous photo shoot on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles. These beautiful women were surrounded by a sea of skyscrapers and we love the contrast between the natural lines of their gowns and the graphic, linear feel of the cityscape. It seems like the perfect blend for a striking foil and letterpress invitation suite — and the traditional, yet sleek color palette is just in time for the fall.

Get the Look – Hollywood Glamour

Today’s “Get the Look” feature is keeping with the Hollywood Glamour/Art Deco theme of our new design, Hamilton. This image is from The Luxor Collection by Johanna Johnson – you can (and we suggest you do!) view the full collection here.

Get the Look – Retro Red

As big fans of the television show Mad Men, we thought we could use a little off-season fix this week. The show inspires us on many levels but this photo shoot by Annie Leibowitz took the drama of the characters to a new level.  For a behind the scenes peek at the shoot, click here.

We love the bright cherry red and pops of metallic in this shot and definitely see this translating to a memorable invitation suite.

Below are suggestions from our designers for how to “get the look” using the many embellishments we have available in our Custom Wedding Portfolio. Enjoy!
