Foil Stamped 40th Birthday Invitation

We are back today to share details and images of the invitation you caught a peek of on Bravo’s My Fab 40th. This very special event required a stand-out invitation. For the main invitation card, the centerpiece of any suite, Rose Gold foil was selected to highlight the striking type treatment featuring an Art Deco font in various sizes along with horizontal lines to show off the foil and highlight the wording of the invitation.

With the Rose Gold foil stamping on the Savoy Brilliant White letterpress stock for the front, a shimmery pale Coral card stock was selected for the back of the card. The two colors duplexed together made for a luxe card with a thick, board-like feel when held in your hand. The shimmery Coral on the back of the card was the backdrop for a custom all-over pattern. This new pattern {Pattern-156 in our Design Library} was printed in Black and Rose Gold foil to emphasize the thick and thin lines and add contrast to this dynamic pattern.

To top it all off, the invitation was edge painted in solid black to frame each side. The invitation was mailed in a black envelope with a shimmery Coral envelope liner and more of the striking type treatment from the invitation printed on the return address in more Rose Gold foil.

Client Customization – Camille Invitation with Letterpress Art Deco Pattern

This robin’s egg blue + begonia beauty is a variation of one of our most versatile designs. This Camille customization, and how a simple change to your favorite design elements, is exactly why we built our Custom Wedding Portfolio. With its decorative frame and patterned background, this square letterpress invitation can take on many looks just by simply choosing a different pattern and color palette which is exactly what this bride and groom have done.

After swapping out the original Florentine-feeling graphic botanical pattern for a detailed pattern reminiscent of an Art Deco tile pattern, a completely new design is created. One that is beautifully suited to their coastal California wedding at the Santa Barbara Biltmore.
