Suite Spotlight – Tayla Letterpress Bar Mitzvah Invitation

Our Tayla letterpress bat mitzvah invitation design is a beautiful balance of sweetness and spirit! The lovely allover floral pattern, coupled with the flowing typeface adds a bit of sophistication to this fresh and youthful letterpress design. The linear envelope liner, colored envelopes and pocket on the reverse of the oversized invitation add even more pop and interest to this suite.

The inspiration board we are sharing with you today for this playful design displays that same balance of sweetness and spirit and sophistication and youthfulness, we feel is great for any young girl celebrating her bat mitzvah.

Tayla also transforms beautifully into a wedding invitation suite. Playing with all of the design elements, like swapping out colored papers, liners and ink colors or changing the font or background pattern on the invitation, make this letterpress suite the perfect starting point for your unique stationery.

Dreaming up all of the options for Tayla has us thinking about this recent post on The Perfect Palette. Color has so much power and we love Chrissy’s blog for celebrating that. Can you imagine our Tayla suite in shades of orange and aqua? How about traditional black and gold? Layers of neutrals would be so stunning, wouldn’t it?

Any of our exclusive retailers can help you explore all of the {endless!} options for designing your stationery wardrobe – whether it’s for a bat mitzvah, wedding or holiday invitation!

Get the Look – Brilliant Blues

We love sharing our favorite color palettes and invitation embellishments through our “Get the Look” posts! This stunning image, from a retro-inspired shoot for Glamour UK with Reese Witherspoon, photographed by Simon Emmet, is our latest inspiration. The beautiful blue color palette of pool, wedgewood and french blue, struck us as perfect for a summer wedding! Our team pulled details from our design library of custom elements and put together a dreamy invitation suite featuring the pool and french blue letterpress inks, a backer card in shimmering champagne and topped it off with an elegant envelope liner.

Your color palette is a great jumping off point for your wedding stationery. From there, you can use the expertise of our exclusive retailers along with our Wedding Portfolio and motif catalog to pull together your favorite elements and truly customize your invitation design to create an elegant, preppy, chic and/or rustic wedding suite!

Savannah Photo Shoot

We have another gorgeous photo shoot for you today. This time we worked with Austin Warnock Photography and a group of amazing vendors they selected. You can see the original post on Style Me Pretty and many more of the stunning images on the Austin Warnock Photography blog.

Savannah Style Shoot

For this shoot, our contribution was a perfectly delicate suite incorporating a beautiful lace pattern in a blind hit, a timeless script and a soft color palette. Here are even more shots of the stationery:

This suite is the perfect fit for this southern wedding, but don’t forget that it can be customized for any event. Would you love to see it in a square shape? With stunning turquoise ribbon corners and backer card? Or maybe a botanical print in the corners in place of the lace? All of that is possible, just visit one our exclusive retailers to customize your own Dauphine Press suite.

Get the Look – Retro Red

As big fans of the television show Mad Men, we thought we could use a little off-season fix this week. The show inspires us on many levels but this photo shoot by Annie Leibowitz took the drama of the characters to a new level.  For a behind the scenes peek at the shoot, click here.

We love the bright cherry red and pops of metallic in this shot and definitely see this translating to a memorable invitation suite.

Below are suggestions from our designers for how to “get the look” using the many embellishments we have available in our Custom Wedding Portfolio. Enjoy!
