We’ve Updated Our Website With New Styles & Features!

Today, we are proud to announce that we have made some amazing new updates to our beloved website. Because our website is one of the ways we share what we do with all of you, we took great care in improving its features and are now very excited to share the details!

First up is our new Search By Style feature! Having created so many custom wedding stationery designs, we’ve built up a substantial collection of unique styles that would be suitable inspiration for various types of events. In fact, we have created everything from vintage to modern, and as specific as, wine country or seaside.

Using our new Search By Style feature, you can start your invitation selection and design process by searching our site for key words that match the look and feel of your {soon to be!} big day. This new tool also allows you to search for different print techniques {like letterpress or foil} as well as for your favorite embellishments {such as duplexed stocks and die cut shapes}. From there, you can take your list of favorites to your local Dauphine Press retailer and start creating your own custom wedding stationery using their expert design input and our custom design details.

The second new feature is one we know you will love — more designs! We added 52 designs to our site that range from new wedding suites, updates on classic Dauphine Press wedding suites, our entire Coral wedding line, Bar & Bat Mitzvah designs and even custom social designs, which include baby announcements and calling cards!

Enjoy all of the new details and eye candy! With all of the inspiration, once you’re ready to order your new Dauphine Press custom stationery, we encourage you to visit your local exclusive retailer to see everything in person and place your order.

Now is a great time too! Our Spring Promotion is running through the end of June.

Dauphine Highlights from The National Stationery Show

As we mentioned on Friday, this week is The National Stationery Show — our favorite week of the year! We get the opportunity to share the latest Dauphine has to offer with all of the best retailers in the industry. For those that can’t be there, we wanted to share photos from our booth. For those of you at the show — come by and visit us in booth 2458!

Our fabulous design team — Heather, Katrina and Erin. *Notice the amazing foil highlights on our booth backdrop (just like the new foil technique offered in our Custom Wedding Portfolio II).

Our pride and joy! The new letterpress Custom Wedding Portfolio II making its debut at the show.

L Mac Events – Identity and Business Cards

Longtime friend of Dauphine and celebrity event stylist Sasha Souzarecently referred one of her colleagues, Brooklyn event designer Lauren Macaulay, to us for identity and business card development.

Lauren wanted a design that evoked a retro feeling and featured “L Mac”, a shortened version of her name as the logo. Dauphine designer Katrina McHugh used an old-Hollywood inspired typeface paired with a eye-catching, yet sophisticated color palette of a nutmeg brown and french blue to create these radiant business cards.

Lauren was a true delight to work with, a sentiment surely echoed by her event clients. Click here to learn more about Lauren’s dynamic design sensibility and see samples of her work.

Shrader Design Announcement

Just out of our press room is this clean and sophisticated letterpress card announcing the launch of a new website for exterior designer Scott Shrader of Shrader Design. The piece was designed by Lisa Collins of Studio One San Francisco and printed on extra thick 600gsm Crane Lettra paper in grey ink with a blind (ink-less) hit on the back. We also utilized our vintage Rosback pin-hole perforater to create a breakaway business card with the company’s name and url. Lisa’s design paired the letterpress piece with an offset printed vellum slip-sheet inviting the recipient to visit www.shraderdesign.com. We encourage you do to the same and savor some of Scott’s stunning exterior design work.

Anyon Interior Design – Logo & Business Card Design

It’s not everyday that we get to work with one of our wedding clients after the happy day has passed, but when the occasion arises we are always delighted to hear what they are up to. In the case of former Dauphine Press bride Lindsay Brier, she came back to Dauphine Design for the development of a new identity for her San Francisco-based interior design business.

Lindsay wanted the design to be clean & calm and after a consultation with Dauphine designer, Katrina McHugh, they decided on an illustration of a mystic knot as the icon that best represents her philosphy and aesthetic. The mystic knot is a feng shui motif symbolizing a long and happy life full of good fortune — we wish the same for Lindsay and Anyon Interior Design!

Click hereto learn more about the very talented Lindsay Brier and see some of her brilliant work.

PS – Dauphine friend Suzanne Lavalee of Spoiled Bitch is the creative and technical genius behind the Anyon website.
