We thought we would kick off the new year with a beautiful client customization of our Sonoma suite. This elegant design came to us from Judy Paulen Designs at Bloomingdale’s. Along with Judy Paulen Designs, the client was also working with Enjoy Events Co. in creating the perfect design to accompany their wedding day event. The soft Warmed White colored paper, custom ink color and shine from the Pearl foil create a subtle, yet show stopping suite. The flourishes from the original Sonoma design were paired with a bold chevron pattern, chandelier motif and peony floral to make a truly custom design.

Today we want to put the spotlight on one of our most popular designs – Carneros. Carneros has seen many customizations from real brides and grooms, but its timeless design is always present, no matter how our couples customize it.
Two of the main highlights on this design are the painted edges in Sunshine and the Dauphine Press exclusive envelope liner in a coordinating Sunshine chevron pattern. Swapping out these two elements means that the core of the design — the traditional letterpress monogram in our Varnish ink and modern typefaces – is still strong and present, but the suite as a whole still has a big impact and will suit your unique event.
With our recent updates to our Design Library and custom elements, the possibilities really are endless for this piece. Our expanded edge painting palette means you now have 58 colors to choose from, not to mention the same number of options for liner colors in any of our patterns!
You may recall that Carneros was also the subject of our style shoot from earlier this year {here is the behind the scenes look at the shoot}. Below are even more amazing shots of this suite as well as our design team’s inspiration for the original design.

We are thrilled to announce our brand new Dauphine Press website!
The Dauphine Press design team has been hard at work for the past couple of months creating our new site and we are just delighted with how it has all come together and are very excited to finally be sharing it with you. Our new site features:
- A full gallery of our Custom Wedding Portfolio II
- A complete electronic version of our Design Library
- New section on our Design & Printing Services (with even more to come soon!)

You will see that throughout the site we have included brand new photography, shot by the amazing Nicole Hill Gerulat as well as images from a style shoot we put together with Enjoy Events Co. Keep an eye on our blog for a behind the scenes post on our style shoot.
We would love to hear what you think! Have you had the opportunity to create a website from the ground up? Did you love it as much as we did? Any and all feedback is welcome!
We were thrilled to see a letterpress wedding invitation suite we printed on the new Style Me Pretty Texas blog. This bride, also an interior designer, worked with our Houston retailer Katie & Co. to customize the Peony design from our Wedding Portfolio. We can’t get enough of all of the design elements the bride created herself. As Abby Blaire writes for SMP “She not only designed the bridesmaid dresses, boutonnieres and so much more but she also designed her own gown.”
We are wholeheartedly impressed.
