Real Dauphine Press Wedding – Jessica & Steven

Today’s Real Dauphine Press Wedding is an example of how powerful an evergreen stationery design can be. This couple paired charming, traditional details alongside a modern aesthetic on their wedding day, which resulted in a classic affair! Captured by Brea McDonald Photography, this coastal New England wedding is elegant and timeless!

Working with our exclusive retailer The Village Invites, the final wedding invitation design featured an elegant script in gold foil stamping on a soft white card. The oversized invitation is simplicity at its finest, putting the shimmering gold foil script in the spotlight.

Client Customization – Fancy Foil Stamped Save the Date

Using our Fairfield invitation pattern as their inspiration, the couple behind today’s Client Customization created a design that is the epitome of “traditional with a twist”. Our Fairfield pattern is set as a foil border detail, framing a classic save the date design with the client-created monogram and script font. The “twist” this couple designed – along with their local Dauphine Press retailer Carolyn at The Write Touch in Jacksonville, Florida – is a layer of pale pink letterpress ink (our shell) under the gold foil border. We love the dimension the printed solid creates under the foil stamped border!

Dauphine Press Designers Inspiration

We’re crushing on this photo of the Oxford Exchange in Tampa, Florida! S&S Craftmen Inc., said it best: “The design and finishes are breathtaking and everyone who visits vows to return. The space exudes a feeling of warmth and comfort.  Painstaking restoration of the older elements, most notably the brickwork, was done alongside the creation of new features, such as the glass-roofed conservatory and the architectural woodwork. It is hard to tell the new from the old, which underscores Oxford Exchange’s mission to showcase the best of the contemporary and the classic.”

Hope you have an inspiring weekend!

Dauphine Press Loves - Pattern

{Kristie}  Kristie loves simple yet glamorous patterns, such as this stunning, metallic herringbone wallpaper.  Print a pattern like this on an envelope liner, or as a blind-impressed background design on an invitation for added character.(image: 1)

{Carissa} Carissa adores bold, graphic patterns, like the navy and white striped wall in this living room. The pattern creates clean lines and acts as an eye-catching accent, just like it would  if it were printed on the back of an invitation! (image: 1)

{Abbey} Take an old, British-inspired design and make it new again by printing it in an unexpected color combination like the green, cyan and gold hues shown. Abbey is head over heels over this extravagant damask transformation! (image: 1)

{Kendra} Small, all-over patterns, like these gorgeous trellis window panels, give a piece texture when printed and really grab Kendra’s attention.  (image: 1)
