Sometimes it’s the smallest touches that have the biggest impact. We love the large magnolia floral in opposing corners in our barely-there varnish letterpress ink on this wedding invitation. But, it’s the color selected for the invitation wording that made us take a second glance. With an overall botanical theme, the deep garden green is a stellar choice. It is that “traditional with a twist” detail that we’re often talking about.
Whether you want to share your wedding details in a subtle way or if you want to shout them from the rooftops, we can help you find your perfect balance. Call us or visit one of our exclusive retailers to get the guidance you need to create a perfect wedding invitation suite for your wedding day.
One of the first steps of wedding planning is finding the perfect location. Once you have that decision made, everything else seems to fall in place. When that location is a special place like Nantucket, we find that many couples can’t wait to share this detail with their guests.
We’re thrilled to share a real wedding with you today of one of those very special weddings in Nantucket, photographed by Brea McDonald.
Emily and Erik worked with our exclusive retailer Parchment and choose a traditional layout for their wedding invitations and prominently displayed a hand-crafted map of Nantucket Island for their letterpress stationery. With the map placed perfectly at the top center of the invitation, guests were sure to take note at the first glance that this was going to be a memorable affair.
Their wedding stationery was letterpress printed on our Savoy Natural White stock in a classic and nautical pairing of French Blue + Marine inks. With a minimalist double line border framing the main invitation card, the lighter blue of the island motif and the names of the bride and groom really stand out. Rounding out the suite are additional nautical motifs that illustrate the uniqueness and charm of Nantucket.
Let us highlight your location on your wedding stationery! Or, would you prefer to highlight your chosen wedding flower, pattern and/or color palette? We can make it all work and customize it to you and your event. Contact us or one of our exclusive retailers to get started on your very own custom stationery design.

We love the way the neutral color palette of this customized version of our Auburn wedding invitation suite highlights our favorite details of this design. The graphic elements — a bold font used for the couples names, the large ampersand, a modern take on the wedding date, a simple single-line frame — really stand out and highlight the typography and the charming couple and their upcoming union.
The entire suite is wrapped up perfectly in a shimmering pocket fold. The interior pocket holds all of the important details your guests will need to plan their weekend and help you celebrate this special day!

Lace is such a classic and romantic wedding element. We’re thrilled to see it making a resurgence in wedding decor these days! We recently added a bundle of new lace motif design elements to our design library and we love that this couple took full advantage of that! With a different portion of lace on each card, the overall look is high on design and personality!
We love the fine details here with the lace on the belly band that wraps all of the invitation cards together, the lace around the return address on the invitation envelope that alerts guests at first glance to this sure-to-be-gorgeous event and the overall color palette of shell and copper. What a beautiful custom design for this couple! If you would like to create your own custom wedding invitation, visit your local exclusive retailer to select your favorite elements today!

I’ve mentioned before that the early morning hours are a time when inspiration usually strikes – the hours when the world, and my children, are still and quiet. The whole process comes full circle when I can use that time to create something for my children.
I wanted to take my next few AM Inspiration posts to share some of the stationery I have created for my daughters. I love seeing the world through their eyes and creating Birthday party stationery to match their enthusiasm about their special days. Each year when a Birthday party comes to a close, they are already dreaming up the theme, activity and decor for next year’s party!
What five year old doesn’t love to roller skate?! My younger daughter is a girly-girl and loved the idea of skating into her fifth Birthday. I took the opportunity to play with patterns and color on this super festive invitation. Using stripes and florals in a mix of pink, turquoiose and purple we had the perfect palette for these fun letterpress Birthday party invitations and goodie bag tags. Playing right along with the mix of patterns was a festive set of fonts ranging from all-caps to bold scripts.
