Today, we are proud to announce that we have made some amazing new updates to our beloved website. Because our website is one of the ways we share what we do with all of you, we took great care in improving its features and are now very excited to share the details!
First up is our new Search By Style feature! Having created so many custom wedding stationery designs, we’ve built up a substantial collection of unique styles that would be suitable inspiration for various types of events. In fact, we have created everything from vintage to modern, and as specific as, wine country or seaside.
Using our new Search By Style feature, you can start your invitation selection and design process by searching our site for key words that match the look and feel of your {soon to be!} big day. This new tool also allows you to search for different print techniques {like letterpress or foil} as well as for your favorite embellishments {such as duplexed stocks and die cut shapes}. From there, you can take your list of favorites to your local Dauphine Press retailer and start creating your own custom wedding stationery using their expert design input and our custom design details.
The second new feature is one we know you will love — more designs! We added 52 designs to our site that range from new wedding suites, updates on classic Dauphine Press wedding suites, our entire Coral wedding line, Bar & Bat Mitzvah designs and even custom social designs, which include baby announcements and calling cards!

After falling in love with blind hits (designs impressed into the paper using no ink), we got to thinking that a light tonal effect might give a bit more pop to our letterpress printed art while maintaining that soft and elegant look that our brides often look for.
While developing our Vizcaya invitation design, we decided to create something new—our Varnish ink, which offers a whisper of color and takes a tonal effect on any color paper. After its introduction in our Coral line last year we’ve seen bride’s using it in many of our other invitation designs with stunning results.
Very versatile Varnish works great for large, bold designs, but can add just enough detail to images that might be too delicate for a blind hit. We love watching new pieces come off the presses using this technique. Keep them coming!
We recently had the pleasure of working with a lovely local couple, Anne and Mike, to design and print the invitations and day of pieces for their Santa Barbara wedding.
To tie-in to the look and feel of their event at the Four Seasons Biltmore Resort, Anne and Mike selected the Grammercy suite from our Coral wedding line for their menu and other reception pieces.
Their charming and classically Californian event was photographed by the brilliant Ray Erwin, who was voted one of the top ten wedding photographers of 2009 by American Photo.
