Real Dauphine Press Wedding – Ashley & Dan

We have a very romantic Real Dauphine Press Wedding to share with you today! We love seeing {and sharing!} how all of the details of a wedding come together. We know that the most important thing to a bride and groom is the unique experience their family and friends will get at their wedding. Creating custom wedding stationery allows us to help all of our brides and grooms create exactly that with the invitation, but you really get a feel for each unique event when you can see all of the elements together!

The couple and their amazing planner Rebecca Reategui worked with our design team to create a stunning stationery suite full of delicate details. From the pearl foil and blue topaz letterpress ink used throughout, to the lace and textile patterns that complemented the wording on each card and the delicate touch of a single Swarovski crystal on the main invitation — the final result is something personal and fresh, which fits in perfectly with every single element they planned for the day!

Client Customization – A Regal Variation of the Larkspur Suite

The Larkspur Suite is one of our best sellers here at Dauphine Press, so we are very excited to show you a gorgeous and exceptionally regal customization of this very versatile design. Our exclusive retailer, By Invitation Only, worked with their client to create a stately version of this letterpress and foil invitation suite. Still loving the engraved style font paired with a classic serif as well as the decor inspired patterns of the original, this bride and groom chose to alter the color palette, making this suite their own. It’s nice to see that with a simple and smart color palette shift the overall feel of a design can be personalized. You don’t always have to reinvent the wheel – just pick your favorite elements and we will run with it!

One of the best parts of making changes like the ones shown above is that there is no additional cost to do so! Visit one of our exclusive retailers to start the design of your custom wedding suite today and take advantage of the free custom design we offer with every order. You can change the color palette, typeface, patterns and motifs on any suite and there is no additional cost! Plus, place your order before the end of June to take advantage of our Spring Promotion to get even more — we’re offering free note cards, free favor tags, 30 free invitations or 15% off any foil and letterpress wedding invitations ordered!

Store Spotlight – Couture Ink

Here at Dauphine Press, we truly value our relationships with the retail stores that represent our letterpress lines. Our current spotlight focuses on Robin Marino of Couture Ink in Ridgefield, New Jersey.

Robin Marino founded Couture Ink in 2009. Working with Robin, it is clear that she has a great eye for design. While this client customization of Occidental stays true to the original design, Robin helped the couple select the perfect suite and color palette for their special day. Scroll down to see more of this sophisticated suite and to learn more about Robin.

What inspired you to open Couture Ink?
Having worked in the event industry, as a planner, I found myself focusing a lot of my attention on the creativity and design of invitations. When it was time to take my clients to pick their invitations, I would love to be involved in brainstorming for new ideas and design aspects to create something different then what was out there. It was then, in 2009, I decided to leave my career in event planning and redirect my energy solely on creating custom stationery. I am so happy I followed my passion because I love what I do!

What did you do in your life before Couture Ink?
Above explains…mainly event planning for an entertainment company, non-profit, and my last stop before the Couture ink train was pharmaceutical event planning (speaker programs).

When did you first realize that you had a passion for paper?
When I was a very little kid…I use to go to the neighbors houses on my block (of course with my mother) and take orders to make holiday cards. I would charge .25 cents and take custom orders and make the holiday cards they ordered with construction paper and crayon – I guess it was always a part of me!

What inspires you?
Everything! I try to find inspiration in all the things I do, see, feel, experience. My inspirations are limitless.  I love to read, research, watch movies, travel, old photos, etc.

What trends are you noticing/loving in wedding stationery?
Foil stamping! I love the appreciation for foil stamping nowadays. My clients are really blown away by the beautiful designs we have to offer and seemed compelled to use it in their invitation design.
