Patterns are great ways to add flair and your own personal touch to any invitation suite. We really enjoy seeing all different patterns, and the innovative ways they are used throughout various stationery designs. Today we are sharing with you some of our top pattern picks for wedding stationery design. We hope you enjoy just a few of the endless possibilities!

Dauphine Press Loves - Pattern

{Kristie}  Kristie loves simple yet glamorous patterns, such as this stunning, metallic herringbone wallpaper.  Print a pattern like this on an envelope liner, or as a blind-impressed background design on an invitation for added character.(image: 1)

{Carissa} Carissa adores bold, graphic patterns, like the navy and white striped wall in this living room. The pattern creates clean lines and acts as an eye-catching accent, just like it would  if it were printed on the back of an invitation! (image: 1)

{Abbey} Take an old, British-inspired design and make it new again by printing it in an unexpected color combination like the green, cyan and gold hues shown. Abbey is head over heels over this extravagant damask transformation! (image: 1)

{Kendra} Small, all-over patterns, like these gorgeous trellis window panels, give a piece texture when printed and really grab Kendra’s attention.  (image: 1)

Incorporating pattern is a creative and powerful way to add detail, which is why we love patterns so much. Visit your local Dauphine Press exclusive retailer today and let them help you bring your custom wedding stationery vision to life!

Get the Look – Natural Details For Letterpress Stationery

There is something about this photograph of Joseph Gordon-Levitt for Details magazine that really has us inspired. We love the wonderfully natural color palette, the layers of texture and the slick car. It’s the perfect inspiration for our gentleman’s edition of our Get the Look series.

The palette we’re dreaming up would include espresso letterpress ink printed on a thick duplexed card of London fog gray. For the embellishments, we love the addition of a gold painted edge and smart indigo envelope liner. Apply this recipe to any of our existing designs to create a dashing design for any event.

One of the elements that can really make an invitation suite unique are the embellishments. Today we’re sharing our favorites. Hopefully our favorite embellishments will inspire your custom design!

Dauphine Press Loves - Embellishments

{Carissa} You might be seeing a trend here and a bit of personality showing through! Carissa loves a bright pop of color, whether it’s her favorite embellishment of an edged invitation or your wedding color palette!

{Abbey} A decorative paper wrap in any of our exclusive patterns {available in any color!} is Abbey’s favorite way to add a gorgeous final touch to your wedding suite!

{Kristie} Colored envelopes can really make a statement since they’re the first thing your guests see! Kristie loves an envelope with a pop of color or in a stunning metallic!

{Kendra} Speaking of adding a stunning metallic, Kendra loves a foil stamped frame and the way it highlights the important details on your wedding invitation.

Suite Spotlight – Maybeck Letterpress Wedding Invitation

The subtle buttercream letterpress printed background pattern, paired with a clean typeface in metal ink on our Maybeck design, creates a perfectly whimsical and modern wedding invitation suite. The two love birds perched on a wire are the focal point of the invitation, while variations of the lovely lark adorn the accessory cards and envelopes.

Get the Look – Dreamy Disposition, An Inspiring Look For Letterpress Invitations

This striking photograph of Kat Dennings has the perfect blend of hard and soft components. Deep, rich colors are offset by her soft makeup and coloring, while the backdrop evokes a vintage feeling. All of these elements are the perfect foundation for fall wedding inspiration.

To capture this juxtaposition, we would love to see one of our more feminine designs like Kentfield or Kasbah customized in this darker color palette. We’re dreaming of olive green letterpress ink paired with gold foil stamping with a French roast colored backer card and antique gold envelope liner.  Want to make that transformation for your letterpress wedding stationery?
