All of us at Dauphine Press are buzzing about the Thanksgiving holiday this week. With plans to travel to spend time with family, hosting large groups in our homes and celebrating the warmth of the season – we are all really looking forward to diving into this holiday and enjoying every second of it. We wanted to be sure to share some of that warmth with you this week with our Suite Spotlight on our Bloom invitation. What better way than to go back to a classic design in a time-honored color palette!
Our Bloom design has an overall traditional feel with a letterpress printed script font in our warm cocoa brown ink. The oversized, offset flourish in bold persimmon gives this design the perfect pop of color and interest – one that will certainly have guests take notice and look forward to an event filled with beauty and personal touches. The presentation of our original Bloom design is where those personal touches start. The cocoa pocket folder and layers of magnolia and poppy colored ribbons allow guests to unwrap this gorgeous package as their anticipation builds.

Keeping in the spirit of the season, we can’t leave this post without mentioning how thankful we are for all of our exclusive retail partners and the wedding couples we have the pleasure of working with every day. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to work with amazing individuals across the country on custom stationery that brings only happiness to everyone who sends or receives them. We are so thankful that we get to work and share our passion with you every day!
One final Thanksgiving note: Our office will be closed this Thursday and Friday for the holiday weekend, but we look forward to hearing from you on Monday, December 2nd.
We talk about the weather and seasons a lot around here, don’t we?! Those two elements are important for weddings and for the couples planning them, so they’re important to us too! We know that fall is a favorite of many and we love seeing all of the blog posts and Instagram updates of people celebrating this new season. We especially love the thought of all of the couples out there who have planned weddings this fall and how this shift will elevate their excitement over their pending nuptials. Soon, all of our fall couples will be able to celebrate the hard work they have put into planning all the fine details of their wedding day, honoring the most special union between two people!
We thought we would jump right in, join in the fun, and share a charming update to our Ainsley suite that is the perfect customization for a fall wedding. For any of you enjoying the new season, or if you’re planning a fall wedding, we know you will love how our exclusive retailer, Papel New York in Brooklyn, customized this letterpress wedding invitation suite for their bride and groom.
A few weeks ago we shared the original Ainsley design with you and how the color palette was perfect for that late summer/early fall wedding. Inspired by the Ainsley design in our Coral Weddings album, Raegan at Papel New York did what she does best. With just a few design changes, she completely transformed this design. With a simple ink color change, script font selection and motif choice, this version is now completely ready for fall! The fun die-cut shape is still the focal point of this suite and will likely be the first thing your guests notice, but this version includes a tone-on-tone rust and espresso color palette that brings an added layer of elegance to the overall design. Paired with the decorative script font for the bride and groom’s names and swapping out the decorative monogram for the charming oak tree motif, this letterpress wedding invitation suite is a gorgeous twist on traditional.
Just as Raegan at Papel New York transformed our Ainsley design, we have a list of amazing retailers who are ready to help you design your very own custom wedding invitation suite. Whether you are inspired by the seasons, a design or two in our album or if you have dreamed up something completely unique, the expert consultants at all of our exclusive retailer locations can help you transform your idea into a reality!
We hope everyone had a wonderfully Happy Thanksgiving yesterday! To keep with the holiday spirit of this week, we wanted to share a recent Snippet & Ink inspiration board that featured our Rutherford suite. It’s so much fun to see how other creative minds interpret our work and the results here are absolutely beautiful! Feast your eyes!
If you would like to see more of our Rutherford suite you can check out our design team’s initial inspiration board in our original blog post and even more on Pinterest.
At Dauphine Press we are huge fans of Santa Barbara Chic and Jose Villa — when the two came together at the beginning of August for this exquisitely graceful and ethereal style shoot, we couldn’t have been more inspired! The effortless color palette is perfect for a late summer wedding or a fresh alternative to a traditional fall color palette.
Our design team paired some of our custom design elements to create the perfect letterpress invitation suite to complement this color palette. Enjoy!

Every year The Hollywood Reporter gathers some of television’s best actresses for a round-table discussion about their characters and shows. This year they did a glamorous photo shoot on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles. These beautiful women were surrounded by a sea of skyscrapers and we love the contrast between the natural lines of their gowns and the graphic, linear feel of the cityscape. It seems like the perfect blend for a striking foil and letterpress invitation suite — and the traditional, yet sleek color palette is just in time for the fall.
