Dauphine Press 2013 Collection of Letterpress + Foil Holiday Cards

It’s that time of year again! The weather is starting to shift, school is back in session and everyone is thinking about holiday cards! Today we’re sharing our 2013 Timeless Holiday Collection and introducing new time frames for all orders placed before November 1st.

Our Timeless Holiday Collection is based on our Custom Wedding Portfolio program, which means that any design can be customized for no additional charge! There are just three steps:

1. Browse our holiday card designs and get creative! Pull elements from any design you see or from the details in our design library to create a holiday card that is unique to you and your family.

2. Visit one of our exclusive retailers to place your order. Through this process you will gain their experience and knowledge to help you refine your holiday card design. Seeing the album in person, you can also feel the papers, choose ink swatches and add your favorite embellishments.

3. Approve your proof and receive your cards in 10* business days! Once the retailer places your order our team of true designers will create a unique design especially for you within 2 business days. Once your proof is approved, your holiday cards ship in less than two weeks!

The fine details on The Fine Print: Most designs shown in the collection include letterpress or letterpress + foil stamping. For orders placed before November 1, 2013, these two categories will ship within 10 days from proof approval. All letterpress cards ship in 7 business days and letterpress + foil cards ship in 10 business days. Cards with additional embellishments, such as colored envelopes and edge painting, can take up to 15-20 business days. And, your proof always reaches you in two business days!

Happy Holidays!

Get the Look – In Full Bloom

In our regular Get the Look series from the Dauphine Press design department, we share some of our favorite hot new style finds and make suggestions for how you can translate the same look into your wedding stationery using the many custom elements available to you in our design library. Keep in mind that ALL of our stationery suites receive a designer’s touch and every one of our designs is customizable so pairing the color palette and embellishments below with any of our motifs or fonts allows us to create a stationery suite that is unique to you!

We love the simplicity displayed in this photo of Carey Mulligan for Harper’s Bazaar, UK. There is such beauty in the limited color palette and composition — one that could artfully be translated into stationery. We are loving soft and serene color palettes for wedding stationery these days, which is what our team pulled from this image. Imagine our soft and cheerful sea glass ink letterpress printed on one of our tree-free 100% cotton invitation envelopes greeting your guests {how about a little something like this}. When they open the envelope, an invitation printed in gold foil on a thick duplexed card in napa stock is revealed. One that has been draped in the most luxurious bisque double-faced satin ribbon. It’s all in the details!

In The Press – Stationery Trends Summer 2013

It’s been a great summer here at Dauphine Press! And yes, we’ve noticed that everyone has already started talking about “back to school” and end of summer plans. We’re wanting to stretch out the warm summer days so we are having fun recapping some of the great things that we have been part of this summer. One very special honor was being included in the Stationery Trends Summer 2013 issue in their Fresh Picks section. We loved seeing our Fairfield save the date and invitation suite featured in our favorite trade magazine.

The romantic lattice pattern in our mist foil truly makes this suite shine. The luxe board duplexed stock creates a beautiful canvas for the foil printed pattern and calligraphic typeface and our gold edge painting is the perfect accessory.

If Fairfield is also your idea of a fresh pick, contact your local Dauphine Press exclusive retailer to start customizing your own wedding stationery.

Dauphine Press in The Wedding Co. Magazine

Thanks to one of our amazing exclusive retailers, William Ashley in Toronto, a fabulous variation of our Glen Ellen design was featured in The Wedding Co. Magazine!

The publication created a fun challenge for a handful of stationers, florists and bakers and the results are stunning! Each “team” was given a few items of inspiration and the results were combined on the pages of the latest issue. With Bohdan from William Ashley leading the way, {just as he will when you visit him to design your wedding invitations}, we created a modified version of our Glen Ellen design to suit the timeless black, white and silver wedding stationery wardrobe.

Loving the classic feel of the Glenn Ellen corner details, Bohdan asked us to incorporate them onto a large, square invitation card in a glimmering silver foil. Paired with traditional fonts in black letterpress and finished with one of our lace-like, patterned paper wraps, a silver paper belly band and luxe double-faced satin ribbon  the look was complete!

This is truly the best part of our job — seeing one of our invitations take on a new direction to become something personal and special for another paper fan! All you have to do to get started on creating your own custom wedding suite is to get in touch with a Dauphine Press exclusive retailer {like William Ashley!} in your area!

Vibrant Spring Style Shoot

It has been an outstanding week here at Dauphine Press! In addition to launching our Presidio suite in Martha Stewart Weddings, we have been collaborating with a few amazing vendors and are happy to announce that our work has finally been released! And, the best part is that our beloved Kasbah suite was featured on the 100 Layer Cake blog!

Lucky us, we had the opportunity to work with Allison at Engaged & Inspired on this gorgeous shoot {have you seen all of her work? I could spend hours pouring over her amazing portfolio!}. Allison chose our Kasbah design in a glimmering, gold foil for the perfect invitation to this vibrant wedding scene. Kasbah is a best seller of ours for its classically-elegant corner details. This version was customized with the reflective gold foil and belluccia script for the bride and groom’s names. For the table menus, Allison selected a design with an embellished frame at the top and a variety of elegant fonts to outline the wedding menu details.
