We began our Designer Desktop series to share hidden gems that will inspire you to create a unique design for your wedding invitation suite. These are designs we love, but have not had the opportunity to print quite yet.
One of these treasures is our Kentfield rehearsal dinner invitation. This petite card was designed as an accessory card to the main invitation. Without a separate mailing envelope, a rehearsal dinner invitation included with the wedding invitation can be any size you wish.
We all know how special the group who attends your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner is, so why not create an invitation for that event that feels just as special? This two color design includes the all-over floral pattern from our Kentfield invitation on this small square card with a pretty layout displaying multiple fonts that make it memorable.
Can we help you create a unique design for the people closest to you; a design for showing that close group of friends and family how much you cherish them and appreciate them standing by your side? We love the way that wedding reception decor has been elevated over the past few years. Seeing high design and fancy fonts make their way beyond wedding invitations is so very exciting for us. Today’s inspiring link is to a custom wedding sign source, Rustic Drift. Take a peek at these one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are an ideal fit for any rustic inspired wedding event – from showers, to rehearsal dinners to the wedding reception! Gorgeous!
I’ve mentioned before that the early morning hours are a time when inspiration usually strikes – the hours when the world, and my children, are still and quiet. The whole process comes full circle when I can use that time to create something for my children.
I wanted to take my next few AM Inspiration posts to share some of the stationery I have created for my daughters. I love seeing the world through their eyes and creating Birthday party stationery to match their enthusiasm about their special days. Each year when a Birthday party comes to a close, they are already dreaming up the theme, activity and decor for next year’s party!
What five year old doesn’t love to roller skate?! My younger daughter is a girly-girl and loved the idea of skating into her fifth Birthday. I took the opportunity to play with patterns and color on this super festive invitation. Using stripes and florals in a mix of pink, turquoiose and purple we had the perfect palette for these fun letterpress Birthday party invitations and goodie bag tags. Playing right along with the mix of patterns was a festive set of fonts ranging from all-caps to bold scripts.
