Our Marinwood trifold save the date is one of our most popular and asked-for designs. Falling right in line with the casual elegance and playful feel of the save the date, the coordinating wedding invitation for this design is equally as stunning.
We incorporated the lattice pattern and detailed florals in new ways on the invitation suite to mix things up. Knowing that most families like to keep the main wedding invitation on the traditional side, we paired a simple border with the florals to create a frame around the classic fonts. For that wow-factor, we letterpress printed the lattice pattern on the entire back-side of the invitation card.
Keeping the theme going, we sprinkled in elements in different ways on each of the accessory cards. Our Marinwood invitation suite is an example of how much we love using the same design elements in different ways. This is one of the main perks of our Custom Wedding Portfolio. You can choose the elements you want and we can design the layout any way you choose without incurring extra design charges.
If you love one of our designs but want to change the card shape or layout, just let us know, we would love to turn your design ideas into a unique printed piece for your wedding day!
We love our Designer’s Desktop series because it is a peek into the creative minds of our design team and showcases designs that they would love to see in print. These designs often focus on details that look great when letterpress printed or are the designer’s version of perfect design balance.
Today’s letterpress invitation design has a retro mid-century modern feel. The clean and minimal face of the card incorporates two clean all-caps fonts and is framed with simple lines … with just a hint of retro with the starburst details in the outer most frame. On the back of the card, the throwback pattern is created from the non-printed portions of the design. With the green areas of the pattern pressed into the paper, the white line pattern appears raised and creates a great texture.
Do you love the feel of this design as much as we do? This version is for an engagement party, but it could easily be incorporated into a wedding day invitation. You can choose to work with us or one of our exclusive retailers to create your custom wedding invitation. Contact us to get started!
In our Custom Wedding Portfolio II, we feature stand-out save the date cards at the start of the album. We are often asked what the corresponding invitation and response card would look like. Our Designer’s Desktop series is the perfect place to share these details with you!
One of those save the date cards is our Solage save the date, which incorporates a two-layer antique engraving frame and a space for your engagement photo. For the invitation, we use the same two-layer frame and instead of your engagement photo taking center stage, we replace it with your invitation wording. We kept the horizontal layout, which allows for the couples’ names to fall on the same line. The response card follows suit with a similar layout, but with a small shift in the frame detail to keep things interesting.
We love the way the vintage feel of the frame pairs with the traditional wedding invitation fonts and layout within it. The delicate balance not only makes a statement to your guests, but it also beautifully showcases the letterpress printing.

We designed our Custom Wedding Portfolio II so that brides and grooms could find a ton of great inspiration for their wedding stationery and also easily bring to life the wedding invitation design they had been dreaming up. A bonus to creating a process so flexible and full of options was that the design elements could easily translate to special events beyond weddings.
Today in our Designer’s Desktop series we share a sweet baby announcement with you that was inspired by our Monterey wedding invitation suite.
The signature sunburst from the Monterey wedding invitation is placed at the top of this announcement and within it is the first initial of this sweet baby girl. Beneath the sunburst is her birth name in a graceful script. This letterpress printed design includes two playful ink colors – lemon and rose.
How would you use our Custom Wedding Portfolio for your special non-wedding events? Let us or one of our exclusive retailers walk you through the process and show you how easy it is to create a custom design for an occasion!
We’re back with another design from our Designer’s Desktop series. Since our design team is always creating new variations of the designs displayed in our wedding album, we want to share some of our favorite versions that we have created over the years. We hope that they will inspire you when designing your wedding stationery!
This square save the date design incorporates elements from our Fairfield wedding invitation suite using the sweet border detail on the front of the card. We love the combination of the festive script font in a bright fuchsia letterpress ink and the fine border stamped in a subtle pearl foil. On the back of the card. A detailed pattern is again stamped in the pearl foil adding lots of refined shimmer. A fuchsia painted edge completes the look.
