We have a sweet customization for you today! We love to see our wedding invitation designs transformed into invitations for all kinds of events. With just a few easy changes, our Camille wedding suite was transformed into a delightfully elegant first birthday invitation.
Shifting the color palette to a range of peaches and oranges with traditional black wording is the first step in transforming this design. Then, swapping out the patterns for graphic florals result in a depth of pattern and color and adds interest. To add a touch of surprise, a second graphic floral pattern in a deeper orange was added to the back of the invitation. Finishing touches include the painted edges, matching envelope liner and striking cartouche on the return address.
We share all of these great designs to show you how easy it will be to customize your very own invitations. Plus, we have a wonderful group of retailers to help you create the perfect stationery for your event!
Sunset ceremony!? Gorgeous villa venue!? Twinkling lights over a single long reception table!? Italian tile-inspired stationery!? Yes, please! There are so many charming details throughout this entire Texas wedding and we are delighted to have played a small role as the stationery designer for this couple.
With a soothing color palette of warm grey, soft creams, pale apricot and luscious blush, each and every detail comes together to create a modern traditional look.
The bride and groom worked with our exclusive retailer, Paper Place in Austin, on their letterpress wedding invitations. The front of the invitation included a single color with the wedding invitation wording in a classic mix of script and all-caps serif fonts printed on a thick Natural White cotton stock. The back of the invitation steals the show with an all-over pattern printed in tobacco and apricot. This exclusive Dauphine Press pattern created by our team of designers was inspired by Italian tiles featuring fine details that are a great fit for letterpress printing!

Winner! This party invitation is a winner in more ways than one! What a fun color palette and Auburn-inspired design. Rebecca, the owner of our exclusive retailer Taylor Street Paper, has created many stunning designs over the years, but this one is one of our favorites. Such a fun design and layout, but the ink palette with the metal gray type over the lemon yellow background pattern takes first place!
You can use our Custom Wedding Portfolio designs as inspiration for any type of event. This race day invitation is the perfect example and retailers like Rebecca at Taylor Street Paper are the perfect example of how much creativity our retailers have. They’re always happy (and excited!) to help you create your very own custom party invitation design.

We are sharing a very special Suite Spotlight with you today. This sweet set of baby stationery was created for a family we have had the pleasure of working with for many years – from bridal showers, wedding invitations, personal stationery and now, baby announcements. As usual, the client worked with our design team and our Custom Wedding Portfolio II program and selected all of their favorite elements to create a perfectly custom stationery suite.
The final suite included baby shower invitations, thank you notes and the baby announcement all featuring sketches of vintage hot air balloons. We love how the color palette varied for each piece, but still coordinated perfectly to tell the story. For the shower pieces, the color palette was chosen with mom in mind too and featured both pink and blue along with a gorgeous neutral gray. For the thank you notes and announcement, a softer palette was chosen since baby was the focus. The mix of fonts coordinated perfectly with the vintage theme and were used to highlight the most important details.
Are you expecting a new little bundle this year? We would love the opportunity to create custom stationery for you and your little one. Visit any of our retailers to get started on your very own custom design.
We have SUCH a treat for you today! This perfectly peach and papaya variation of our letterpress Carmen wedding invitation summoned Jillian & Vander’s wedding guests to quite a sweet event! 100 Layer Cake said it best in their post: Every little detail is impeccable, but it feels relaxed and unfussy at the same time. We couldn’t agree more!
The bride and groom worked with our exclusive retailer, Union Street Papery, and customized Carmen to perfectly suit their event. The design is warm and subtle; strong and sophisticated. The unexpected choice of typefaces set the mood with flair, while the layers of elegant patterns, used in different ways on the various cards in the suite, bring it all together. Bundled in an elegant pocket and wrapped with a stunning letterpress-printed belly band with their custom monogram was sure to get their guests excited to share the day with them.
We say it time and time again, but seeing everything together on the wedding day is what we love most about what we do. Seeing that the custom monogram we designed for them was incorporated into the design of the wedding cake makes our day!
