Suite Spotlight – Stone Harbor Letterpress Wedding Invitation

We’re excited to share the third brand new wedding invitation suite that we recently added to our Custom Wedding Portfolio II – Stone Harbor! For those of you that love details, this suite is the perfect starting point. It has layers of elements that can easily be swapped out for your favorite details to create a brand new look.

Our versatile Stone Harbor wedding invitation suite is all about texture. From the subtle blind chevron pattern printed behind the navy letterpress text, to the silver metallic rope pattern on the colored paper bellyband and the repeating nautical knot pattern on the decorative envelope liner, this suite has it all! We’ve chosen motifs and a color palette with a nautical feel, but this sophisticated suite could easily be customized with a monogram, palm motif and tropical color palette for an island affair.

Suite Spotlight – Lace Letterpress Invitation Suite

In wedding stationery design, we love when two unique elements collide to create something incredible. It’s a bit like a marriage, isn’t it?! Our Lacie letterpress invitation does exactly that with an elegant balance of vintage and modern design elements. The delicate, antique lace pattern curving across the top of each card in a bold, vivid, orchid letterpress ink creates a striking visual for your guests. We see this perfect balance again with the sleek and modern typeface letterpress printed in a warm charcoal gray ink on a soft natural white cotton stock. The subtle touch of the warm tones in the paper and ink help bridge the vintage and modern elements.

The inspiration board explores this beautiful balance and really shows off the orchid and pool color palette.

Dauphine Press Loves - Home Decor

{Abbey} Abbey has always had a thing for home decor with an eclectic mixture, like this inviting and stylish living room with crown molding and exposed wood. (image: 1)

{Kendra} Kendra likes to keep things interesting by using painted furniture to add pops of color throughout the home. The stools and cabinetry are a brilliant, red-orange shade and the best part about these pieces is that they can be painted to change up the color scheme!   (image: 12)

{Kristie} Kristie loves a combination of cozy neutrals in home decor, especially dark hardwood floors and blending rustic and modern touches, like the colors in the left photo and the amazing rustic barn door and ceiling in the right photo. (image: 12)

{Carissa}  Carissa believes that less is more when it comes to home decor. She loves having a calming, zen feeling with sleek, clean lines in her home. (image: 1)

Patterns are great ways to add flair and your own personal touch to any invitation suite. We really enjoy seeing all different patterns, and the innovative ways they are used throughout various stationery designs. Today we are sharing with you some of our top pattern picks for wedding stationery design. We hope you enjoy just a few of the endless possibilities!

Dauphine Press Loves - Pattern

{Kristie}  Kristie loves simple yet glamorous patterns, such as this stunning, metallic herringbone wallpaper.  Print a pattern like this on an envelope liner, or as a blind-impressed background design on an invitation for added character.(image: 1)

{Carissa} Carissa adores bold, graphic patterns, like the navy and white striped wall in this living room. The pattern creates clean lines and acts as an eye-catching accent, just like it would  if it were printed on the back of an invitation! (image: 1)

{Abbey} Take an old, British-inspired design and make it new again by printing it in an unexpected color combination like the green, cyan and gold hues shown. Abbey is head over heels over this extravagant damask transformation! (image: 1)

{Kendra} Small, all-over patterns, like these gorgeous trellis window panels, give a piece texture when printed and really grab Kendra’s attention.  (image: 1)
