Adrianne & Jared are the ideal Dauphine Press couple! They found us through exclusive Dauphine Press retailer Pebble & Peony in Houston, Texas and created their wedding stationery suite based on our Carneros design. Inspired by the original, but wanting to make it their own, they selected a bright color palette of tangelo and french blue letterpress inks. They also modified the design with the monogram and text centered on the main invitation, which made for a more classic layout. Their version of the monogram incorporates a script font and creates the perfect balance of traditional with their playful personalities when paired with the bold chevron pattern on the envelope liner and response card.
With Alexis’ help at Pebble & Peony, the couple took advantage of our design services and had their custom monogram incorporated onto additional details, such as their charming treat packaging. We offer this to all of our clients. When we create something custom for you, it’s yours to use!
We love seeing everything come together on the big day. Adrianne & Jared were no different — we loved playing a role in their special day. If you would like to see more images from Adrianne & Jared’s wedding, you can see the original post and more images on the Style Me Pretty blog. Don’t forget to read the bride’s recap of the day, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the goosebump-inducing details, such as her account of the day being “even more special and wonderful in real life than in daydreams.” What an amazing couple!

We’re giving today’s Suite Spotlight a little twist! While you’ve already seen the original inspiration for our Monterey design, created for the gorgeous Peony Pop vignette at The Lab Event, today we wanted to illustrate how versatile letterpress and foil invitation suites can truly be. Monterey is perfectly suited for fun and playful affairs like the one designed for The Lab, but it can also make the ideal introduction to a romantic and neutral palette as shown in today’s inspiration board.

We love Monterey for its 1960s decor-inspired sunburst monogram in gold foil. In fact, we love it so much that we were sure to include this motif on the accessory pieces to highlight key details, such as the response date on the reply card and the title on the menu card. In its original version, the shell colored letterpress details on the invitation border and on the exclusive liner pattern allowed the sunburst detail to be the star. And, the sweet lemon meringue papers used for the response card and personalized belly band rounded out the color palette, while securing all of the invitation elements. With our custom design process, any of these details could be modified to highlight your favorite detail in any color palette. With a design as versatile and classic as Monterey, the options are endless!
We would love the opportunity to customize Monterey for your extraordinary event. Contact one of our exclusive retailers today to get started on your custom foil and letterpress wedding invitation suite. And, don’t forget to take advantage of our Spring Promotion when placing your order thorough one of our exclusive retailers before June 30th.
We are also very proud to announce that our Monterey suite has been nominated for the 4th Annual Trendy Awards in the bridal category. If you love it as much as we do, please vote!

We have another Suite Spotlight and beautiful inspiration board to share! Regal and formal, our Occidental design highlights the rich luxury of our cotton papers by incorporating a whisper of a background motif that, when letterpress printed, makes this design feel wonderfully tactile. Paired perfectly with a stately monogram and delicate script, the lace-like paper appears sophisticated, soft and bridal.

Today we want to put the spotlight on one of our most popular designs – Carneros. Carneros has seen many customizations from real brides and grooms, but its timeless design is always present, no matter how our couples customize it.
Two of the main highlights on this design are the painted edges in Sunshine and the Dauphine Press exclusive envelope liner in a coordinating Sunshine chevron pattern. Swapping out these two elements means that the core of the design — the traditional letterpress monogram in our Varnish ink and modern typefaces – is still strong and present, but the suite as a whole still has a big impact and will suit your unique event.
With our recent updates to our Design Library and custom elements, the possibilities really are endless for this piece. Our expanded edge painting palette means you now have 58 colors to choose from, not to mention the same number of options for liner colors in any of our patterns!
You may recall that Carneros was also the subject of our style shoot from earlier this year {here is the behind the scenes look at the shoot}. Below are even more amazing shots of this suite as well as our design team’s inspiration for the original design.

Starting with our new Calistoga wedding invitation suite, we are sharing the new designs we launched at The National Stationery Show in New York this past May. We wanted to give each new design an individual post to share with you the details behind the design and our team’s vision of this suite. All of our new designs are now in the hands of our exclusive retailers if you’re dying to see these in person.
Calistoga incorporates a few of our newest custom design elements {keep an eye on the blog for even more of these new details!} — the large monogram letterpress printed in our new Apricot ink makes a bold yet elegant statement that pairs perfectly with the coordinating Apricot edging and delicate geometric pattern in our new Sea Glass ink on the back of the double-thick premium letterpress stock. You can’t miss the new die cut shape on the response card, which is the perfect finishing touch to any suite!
This is a traditional design with a modern twist that could work for any event, but the below board represents the romantic, ray-of-sunshine event our team had in mind when creating this original design.
