We have SUCH a treat for you today! This perfectly peach and papaya variation of our letterpress Carmen wedding invitation summoned Jillian & Vander’s wedding guests to quite a sweet event! 100 Layer Cake said it best in their post: Every little detail is impeccable, but it feels relaxed and unfussy at the same time. We couldn’t agree more!
The bride and groom worked with our exclusive retailer, Union Street Papery, and customized Carmen to perfectly suit their event. The design is warm and subtle; strong and sophisticated. The unexpected choice of typefaces set the mood with flair, while the layers of elegant patterns, used in different ways on the various cards in the suite, bring it all together. Bundled in an elegant pocket and wrapped with a stunning letterpress-printed belly band with their custom monogram was sure to get their guests excited to share the day with them.
We say it time and time again, but seeing everything together on the wedding day is what we love most about what we do. Seeing that the custom monogram we designed for them was incorporated into the design of the wedding cake makes our day!

All of us at Dauphine Press are buzzing about the Thanksgiving holiday this week. With plans to travel to spend time with family, hosting large groups in our homes and celebrating the warmth of the season – we are all really looking forward to diving into this holiday and enjoying every second of it. We wanted to be sure to share some of that warmth with you this week with our Suite Spotlight on our Bloom invitation. What better way than to go back to a classic design in a time-honored color palette!
Our Bloom design has an overall traditional feel with a letterpress printed script font in our warm cocoa brown ink. The oversized, offset flourish in bold persimmon gives this design the perfect pop of color and interest – one that will certainly have guests take notice and look forward to an event filled with beauty and personal touches. The presentation of our original Bloom design is where those personal touches start. The cocoa pocket folder and layers of magnolia and poppy colored ribbons allow guests to unwrap this gorgeous package as their anticipation builds.
